I MADE A COMMERCIAL! Look at me, I’m awesome! I guess I’m just really proud of this commercial because I staged it and directed it. I also helped shoot some of this footage and navigated my way through the perfect interview for this commercial.
The commercial is for YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO. Through working with the Programs Department, I curated the title for our fall programming called “Explore Your Rockies” as an attempt to garner some PR coverage. (Blog post on that coming soon!) I really wanted to capture, visually and emotionally, what “explore your rockies” means. So I decided to ask our staff, “What does the Rockies mean to you?” I wanted to pull from different aspects of what people do in the Rocky Mountains.
